10.13.2. Submission After the Deadline

Once the "deadline" has passed, students will no longer be able to submit their assignments.

You can extend the submission period by resetting the "Cut-off date" in the settings. In this case, the submission period will be changed for all participants.

Setting extended submission deadlines or resubmission options for specific students

Use the override function if you want to extend the submission deadline for specific students only.

1. In the "More" section of the quiz, click "Overrides."

2. Click "Add user override"

3. Configure the override settings and click "Save"

Override settings

• Override user: Select the users for whom you want to extend the exam period or allow retakes.

• Allow submissions from: Set the start date and time for resubmission.

• Due date: Set the deadline for resubmission. (Submissions will still be accepted after the deadline until the cut-off time.)

• Cut-off date: Set the date and time after which assignments can no longer be submitted.

4. The user for whom the override was set will be displayed, and that user will be able to submit the assignment by the specified deadline.
