10.15.5. Manually Entering Grades

Since essay questions cannot be graded automatically, they must be graded manually.

1. Click "Results" within the quiz.

2. Questions that require manual grading will be marked as "Requires grading" so click on this.

3. The selected student's essay will be displayed; click "Make comment or update override mark."

4. Add comments as needed and enter the scores in the score field. Once you have finished entering the information, click "Save"

*You can use the same procedure to manually adjust the scores for questions that have been automatically graded or for test results that have already been manually graded. Any manual grading changes you make will be saved immediately.
