What Are Text and Media Fields?

This tool allows you to display text, images, videos, and other content directly on the course page.

10.19.1. How to Use the Text and Media Areas

1. Add modules for text and media to the course.

2. Enter the settings. Depending on the content of the text fields, you can place various types of content on the course page.

  • Example 1: You can display an announcement on the course page.

  • Example 2: Create a link to a web page and enter it to display the URL link on the course page.

  • Example 3: You can embed and display online videos by creating a link using the video URL.

10.19.2. Text and Media Settings

  • Title in course index: This title does not appear on the course page. It is used to identify the course when configuring module settings or setting activity completion criteria.
  • Text: Enter the content or text you want to display on the course page.
