10.22. About the Book¶
What is a book?¶
"Book" is a module that compiles materials into a single digital booklet.
You can select from the table of contents to view pages and print by chapter or page.

10.22.1. How to Use the Book¶
1. Install the Book Module.

2. Configure the book settings, then click "Save and view"

3. First, create a chapter. After entering the content, click "Save changes"

4. Next, click the block drawer on the right side of the page to display the table of contents and begin editing the book. Click the "+" button to add sections.

5. Enter the content for the section. When creating a section, check the "Chapter" box under the chapter title. Once you have finished entering the content, click "Save changes"

6. You can browse the document by selecting a page from the table of contents to view chapters and sections.

You can add chapters to a book by importing HTML files in ZIP format via the "Import chapter" option.

1. Click "Import chapter" in the book.

2. Upload the HTML file you created earlier.

At this point, you can upload image files, but you must specify the images using HTML.

*You must specify the image using a relative path.
10.22.2. Book Settings¶

<General>
- Name: The name of the book.
- Description: This is the book's description.
<Appearance>
- Chapter formatting: Select the format to be displayed when organizing chapters.
- None: Do not apply any formatting, such as chapter numbers, to the chapters.
- Numbers: Chapters will be automatically numbered as "1.1, 1.2," etc.
- Bullets: A bullet point (•) is added to the chapter title and appears in the table of contents.
- Indented: Indent the text to display the chapter contents.
- Custom Titles: The chapter title will no longer appear in the content.
