What is a Wiki?

This module allows course participants to create and edit web pages individually or collaboratively.

10.5.1. How to Use the Wiki

1. Install the Wiki module.

2. Configure the Wiki settings and click "Save and view"

3. Click "Create page"

4. Enter the content for the wiki.

5. You can create a table of contents by using "Headings" Drag the cursor over the section you want to make into a heading, and you'll be able to select the heading type.

6. 新しいページを追加したい場合はテキスト欄に [[新しいページ]] と入力することで、wikiの下部に新しいページを作成するページリンクが作成されます。

7. You can move the new page you created from the "Map" drop-down menu.

8. You can view the change history from the drop-down menu.

10.5.2. Wiki Settings

  • Wiki Name: The name of the wiki.
  • Description: This is the description from the wiki.
  • Wiki Mode: Configure how the wiki is created. Please note that you cannot change these settings once they have been configured.
    • Collaborative Wiki: Participants can edit the wiki together.
    • Personal Wiki: Participants can create and edit their own wikis. Teachers can view each participant’s personal wiki.
  • First page name: Set the title of the first page of the wiki. This cannot be changed after it has been set.

<Format>

  • Default format: Set the format for editing the wiki. (We recommend using HTML with a standard text editor.)
