2. Description of the page after logging in

My Courses

This is the page that appears after you log in. It displays a list of the courses you are enrolled in.

Within My Courses,
You can "Sort courses" "Search" "reorder," and "change the display format."

About Sorting (A)
  • In Progress: Displays courses currently in session.
  • Future: Displays upcoming courses.
  • Past: Displays completed courses.
About Search (B)

Searches for and displays keywords found in the "Course name" and "Course Description" fields of courses within My Courses.

About Sorting (C)
  • Sort by Course Name: Sorts courses in alphabetical order by course name.
  • Sort by Last Access: Sorts courses in order of most recently accessed.
About Display Formats (D)
  • Card: Displays a card showing the course image, course name, and category.
  • List: Displays course images, course names, and categories in a list.
  • Summary: Displays a list of course images, course names, categories, and course descriptions.

Dashboard

This is a page where you can place selectable items—such as calendars and course deadlines—as blocks and customize it yourself.

How to Customize

Open the dashboard, click "Edit mode" in the upper-right corner of the page, and enable it.

When you select "Add a Block," the available options will be displayed.
After editing, disable "Edit mode"

Items that can be added

  • Courses: The categories are displayed, and you can view all courses available on the site.
  • Course Overview: The same content as on the My Courses page will be displayed.
  • Comments: Displays the text as a note within the dashboard.
  • Tags: Displays the items set in the tags field for courses and users.
  • Text: You can display text with a title. You can also display an embedded video by entering its URL.
  • Navigation: You can view each page of the site using the navigation menu.
  • Random Glossary Entry: Displays a term selected at random from the specified glossary.
  • Administration: Displays a link to the site administration page.
  • Managed Bookmarks: Displays links to bookmarked sections within the site management settings.
  • Recently accessd Courses: This displays the courses you have viewed most recently.
  • Starred Courses: Displays the courses you've starred in My Courses.
  • Upcoming Events: Displays deadlines for upcoming assignments, quizzes, and other tasks.

This is the homepage of the Moodle site. It displays announcements from the Information Media Center.

User Profile

This displays your profile. On this page, you can view your profile information and change your profile picture.

To view your user profile, log in, click the user icon in the upper-right corner of the page, and select "Profile"

User Details

  • Edit Profile: Edit your user profile.
  • Email address: Displays the email address registered in Moodle.
  • Time Zone: Displays the user's time zone.

Privacy and Policies

Displays an overview of data retention.

Course Details

This page displays the courses the user is enrolled in.

Miscellaneous

  • Notes: These are the user profiles on the site. You can also view each user's notes from their profile.
  • Forum Posts: Displays the user's forum posts.
  • Forum Discussions: Displays forum discussions started by users.

Report

  • Today's Log: You can view today's log.
  • All logs: You can view all logs.
  • Outline Report: Displays a summary report.
  • Complete Report: Displays a report that is more detailed than the outline report.
  • Statistics: Displays statistics for the past month.
  • Browser Session: Displays the user's login history.
  • Grades overview: Displays a summary of user ratings in a list.
  • Grades: Displays a list of user ratings.

Click "All Courses" under "Search course" at the top of the page to view all courses available on Moodle.
