Course Page Description¶
Here is an explanation of the content displayed on the course page.
A. Course Name: Displays the name of the course.
B. Section: A unit used to divide a course page by week or by topic. Instructors organize and place modules within each section.
C. Modules: Content within a course that users access to take tests or download materials. Modules are broadly divided into the following two types:

Activity: Dynamic content that involves students performing actions such as submitting work or answering questions
(Examples) Quizzes, assignments, forums -
Resources: Static content that is set up and updated by teachers and does not require student interaction
(Examples) Files, folders, URLs
How to Install the Module¶
1. Go to the course page, click "Edit mode" in the upper-right corner of the screen, and enable it.
2. Click the "+" icon or "Add an activity or resource" within the section to display a list of available modules.
3. Configure the module name, description, and other settings, then click "Save and return to the course" at the bottom of the page.
4. After installing the module, you can move it to any location using drag and drop.
5. Click the ellipsis on the right side of the module to edit it or change its location. Once you’re done editing, turn off “Edit Mode.”
Edit Menu Contents¶
- Edit Settings: Change the settings for a module. You can also edit settings by accessing each module's page.
- Move: Select a destination to move the module.
- Move right: Shifts the module to the right.
- Hide: You can hide the module from students.
- Duplicate: You can copy a module and place it within the course.
- Assign roles: Assign a role to a user that is valid only within the module.
- Group Mode: Configure group settings for using the module.
- Delete: Deletes the module.
